'Twas five days before Christmas and all through the town;
Not a train was up running, they'd all been shut down.

The turnstiles were locked and the stations were cleared,

The workers were nestled all snug in their booths;

Alas, from the public arose such a clatter,
Their leader seems not to have thought out the matter.

With shoppers not shopping and travel delayed,
public support dwindled, New Yorkers' nerves frayed.

You dumb, lazy morons! The people did cry.

It'll cost us a fortune, illiterate twits!
The people weren't happy. In fact, they threw fits.

but not before Christmas - now everyone's peeved.

Yeah, they actually went to some length to do it..which is nice since our office is pretty small (20 ish people). I actually appreciate the effort as much as (or more than?) the gift itself.

But last year we all got these very nice white/grey hooded sweatshirts with the logo on them. People ask me where they can get one all the time!

Do you guys get stuff like that year round at your company? Seems like polo-shirts and things like that with corporate logos are everywhere?

1. Company Holiday Party at Rockefeller Center; gourmet buffet, skating access, open bar.

2. Department Lunch - Carmine's Times Sq. - 2 hours, 7 course meal w/wine and dopio espressos.

3. Department Breakfast

4. $50 gift card to_____________(hopefully the apple store as I asked ;) )

I'm happy :)

5. friday at 12pm through the end of Jan 2 as vacation...on top of the other 2 weeks I have!
