anyone nervous about this plane trying to crash land in a minute?
*fingers crossed*
Having just flown all day yesterday, yeah, a bit.
Speaking of which, talk about your lousy pre/during flight days. Arsenal lost at 2 am, I got food poisoning at 3:45 am, said goodbye to the girlfriend for the last time at 4:30 am, then continued to have food poisoning for the first 12 hours of travel after that. However, I've made it here to my parents' brand-spanking new house in Albany, and have had the good fortune to discover that I'm the only one with all his Xmas shopping done (my mom is so desperate that she bought two of my gifts RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME tonight). It's also just nice to be back in the States, and the snow finally makes it feel like it's actually Christmas. Still, tough to leave all the good friends I had in Taiwan (they were buying me shots of absinthe at my going away party) and especially the girlfriend. She was the best thing going for me there and was the only thing keeping me sane for awhile. But, hopefully things can work out in the end. :)

I wrap the gifts I give. I am pretty good at it and I think Leigh uses too much damn tape.
Then you would have coronary watching me! The more tape the better as far as I am concerned! ;) :D
Sean and I did wrap most of Josh's presents last night-spoiled kid! :p

Morning Phishy! Tired today from late night holiday wrapping......and I am the only one in the family that had to get up this morning...... :mad: Sean is off until after New Years. Blast him and his 3 weeks of vacation!

And you would have probably had a stroke watching my grandfather unwrap a present. He used to literally carefully cut every piece of tape so as not to actually tear the wrapping paper, because he wanted to reuse it the following year (kind of like what we do with bows). My Dad and uncle one year wrapped a hammer in about six sheets of paper (individually, so that each layer was taped up). My grandfather spent about 45 minutes unwrapping it, never getting frustrated once. The man had the patience of a saint!

Glad you made it back to the States safe and sound! It is hard to move sometimes, but I am sure you will settle in to southern Cali pretty easily!

I used to get that same vacation when I was in Miami. Unfortunately, that perk did not transfer to Texas. :( Therefore, HELLO INTERNET!! :D

No kidding! I'll tell you what I want for X-mas, and that is anti's job!!! Able to hop off to Vegas on a whim, travel around Europe for half the year!

they beat the #14 team in the nation last night at home. My friend Matt was at the game and told me that upon Hanover calling a time out 10 seconds in to the second half he commented that "if this is the #14 team in the country I want a new country" the final margin was around 20 points.
