Lets dedicate this thread to the goalkeepers of Group D. My dad was a goalkeeper for his town back in the old days.
Which team has the most experienced goalkeeper?

HHmm... I don't know about "experience" but from what i've seen, and from what people in this forum are saying about Iran and Portugal's goalkeepers, I would have to say Oswaldo Sanchez is probably the better. Experience is another issue though, he hasn't played in any other world cup. He has international experience, however, in the Copa De Oro, Copa America, and Confederations Cup.
the only wild card would be Angola's goalkeeper, i honestly don't know anything about him, or see how good he is. For all i know he could be the African Kahn. But seeing as how i've never heard of him on the international scene, i would say he is probably relatively unexperienced.

Mexico's Top Three; Probably Group D's Top Two

Hehe
Nice one :)
Angolan GK must be the crappiest of the bunch; OK a bit harsh there, I am basing this just on highlights of the Angola - Rwanda match. He had difficulties handling balls in the box. Well the Angola game is there for dl so we can all watch and assess their GK

I think Osvaldo was reserve goal keeper in '98 and '02.

Well, about Irans keeper, Ebrahim Mirazpour, all I have to say is that they call him MirzaKOUR in Iran. Kour means blind i think.(I'm not iranian, all my frendz are). I think he might be the weakest part of Team Melli.

What he said :-o
He is indeed our team's weakest link. Although there has been a few games where has performed yashin-like, all 3 or 4 of our losses over the past 2 years have been mostly his fault. He comes out of the net way too often when it isn't neccessary.
Advantages: height (195 cm) , fast reactions
Disadvantages: everything else :-p

True, i guess that does count for experience then. That makes it official, Sanchez is the most experienced, and i'd say simply the best, keeper in Group D

Yep, without a doubt Oswaldo is the best keeper in the group. What about the rest of the world? Who else has a keeper that compares to sanchez? Van der sar from holland maybe, but who else?

I would say Kahn... but i think he was keeping when Germany played Mexico, and Mexico scored 3 goals on him so maybe not.
the other good ones i can think of are Dida and Buffon.

Ah yes of course Kahn, i forgot about him. Yeah that's true, Mexico got 3 against him, but i mean then again Sanchez for Mexico let in 4 that game. It was just a lapse in defense for both teams. Both are still great keepers.

Oswaldo is very good, but I would have to say that he only approaches the level of a Gianluigi Buffon, Iker Casillas, or Petr Cech. (Kahn is in decline, Dida is prone to react slowly at times --> see borgetti goal in confed cup, and Van der Saar is overrated)

Oswaldo Sanchez

Mexico's got the best goalkeeperssssss for sure
Oswaldo Sanchez is our first goalie but Corona or Ochoa are just as good. Or better. I think the only reason Sanchez is our first goalie is because of his experience.
***And if these goalies get injured before the world cup, Lavolpe can count on Moises Muņoz, Oscar Perez, or Sergio Bernal who are just as good.
Yep, Mexico's weakness is certainly not at the net.

No, more like 45-50, i'm sure there are reserve keepers better than him
