Ya know. Reading this press release....and I gotta believe the decision had at least already been made about week or two weeks ago. How many political heavy hitters in the list tomorrow?

If I were a betting man, I'd bet that the team is going to be playing at Robertson Stadium, which is in Carol Alvarado's district (District I) and Sylvia Garcia's precinct (Precinct 4). Meanwhile, Adrian Garcia's district (District H) is primarily The Heights, but also extends a bit east of downtown and neighbors District I.

I think I'm going to have to call in sick and go to this. I'll be there with all my Quakes gear on.

I'm hoping the "other details" involves team name, colors, and jersey for next season.

I'm still debating on calling in sick. I just have to stay away from the TV cmaeras because I really don't want my boss to notice me on the news.

I was scheming to slip out for the announcement, but it hasn't worked out that way.

Please provide any good details for those of us who can't make it. Thanks in advance.

I feel like leaving work sick because this makes me sick.

Seriously, congrats. I guess.

I would've rooted for a Houston team if they had been expansion. But this settles it. Despite the drive, I'm FCD all the way.

It’s a shame MLSnet does not have a web cast for this. So I guess we have to wait for the press release after :P
