My package was delivered at 7:09 am Tuesday and I got my confirmation e-mail from USSF at 8:40 pm CST this evening. My confirmation # is 82xx.

Who knows what this means . . .

I sent mine by Fed Ex. It was delivered at 9:43 am and signed for by S. Polk.

I got my e-mail confirmation at 9:49 pm EST and my number is 81xx. That does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. If there are 8000 orders ahead of me, so much for getting tickets. Let's hope these numbers are random.

Let's hope these numbers are random. You honestly think that a few folks over at US Soccer -- opening packages, reading off faxes, and punching the information in to a computer in order to categorize these orders have been able to enter 8,000 people in more or less 2 days? I know there is a demand for these tickets, but if there are 8,000 orders my name is John Terry and I am currently wearing Chelsea blue.

finally got mine, 8:24 CT
61xx

initial order faxed in 10:30pm CT Monday

I did order a grand total of 6 tickets (2 tix for each of the group games) but i don't think there's much to that theory.

I also shot my own theory to hell, because there are no zeros in my order #. I still don't think it's possible that they got 5000 orders in such a short period, but i guess we'll see.

Well I just got my confirmation number 85** from an overnight application which got into Chicago at 11:46 Tuesday morning. What the hell does this mean? As numerous others have stated the 5 in the number throws off the theory of the numbers starting at 1000. Good luck to everyone else and I hope to see you all in Germany.

I ordered one (1) ticket for a friend that is going as well, we put Cat I (but checked for any other levels if no Cat I's left) for the three first round matches. Our order was also in the 7:00 am FedEx batch and our confirm # is:

So much for first come first serve , mine was received at 7:09, and I got a 85** confirmation number. All faith lost in US Soccer, first the fax fiasco then this crap.

It was my theory that the numbering started at 1000, not that the 2nd digit was 0.

I say this because my application was received a mere 25 minutes after the lines were supposed to open, and I was in the 1030s. Theres obviously no way that 1000 faxes were sent in in twenty minutes, and as you can see, nobody has gotten a higher confirmation number than mine.

I don't know what to say about the 2nd digit theory, obviously it has been debunked, but I thought that they started numbering at 1000 , assuming they would receive no more than 10,000 applications, and then everybody would have a 4 digit confirmation #.

Just got my confirmation number. It's number 8,000 something.

Which goes to show me that there is NO WAY that those numbers are assigned in the order the apps were recieved. I would be shocked if more than 8,000 people applied for tickets to this thing.

My confirmation number is 61XX.

So I assume I will not get any tickets, but can we create a official "USSF screwed me out of ticket threads and someone from BS please take me along" thread?
