Now that alot of us have fedex'd our apps. I thought Id start a thread for tracking our shipments.

Mine is suppose to be there before 10:30.

I still think my fedex package will get there faster than I would have with all the fax attempts. 3hours at kinkos faxing 1hour at home faxing, 30min at kinkos again faxing, and finally shipping fedex.

So let the race begin.

Que Sera Sera, What Ever Will Be Will Be, Im still going to Germany.

I was faxing from before 1:00 PM EST until 5:30. After all the chatter on here about USSF not accepting additional faxes, I ran down to FedEx to overnight it. I swear to god that if I don't tickets, someone in Chicago will have hell to pay. I mean one ********ing fax machine. Seriously, what were they thinking?

According to the tracking info, the package just left town at 7:18 PM.

Better hope that someone is there to accept delivery of the package when it arrives.

I sent mine for afternoon delivery, but I hope that since they'll be dropping off so many for morning delivery, they'll drop mine off too. :D

now here's the question of the day: if they get to work at 9- do those that arrive at 8:59 get priority over those that arrive at 8, since they are on "top" of the mail stack. I'm quite cynical and hoping that somehow there is still a chance

my math says 2 minutes/fax= 30 faxes and hour- figure 10 workling hours before our 10:30 fedexes arrive.... only 300 orders will be gone

ill keep telling myself this

UPS for me.

I tried from 12noon CST till 7pm CST. No luck. I faxed from one machine for hours at the office. My assistant hovered over the machine feeding it over and over while running the auto-dial. No luck.

I thought, well, one machine isn't working, let me walk down the hallway and try another machine simultaneously. No luck, again.

At 7pm I gave up faxing and went home. I'll probably dream about the fax machine beeps and burps all night.

At 5pm, though, I packaged my little set of pages and sent them off on a UPS truck that arrives daily at my office in Dallas.

If only Chicago based people get tickets you're not going to be seeing a lot of love around here. Still, good luck to you.

According to the Fedex tracker, mine's at the "dest sort facility" as of 6.56am. I assume that's local time and I assume that dest sort facility is a fancy word for mailroom.

I have to wonder how many friends of friends of friends of the USSF staff there are. My guess is around 3000.

I have to keep reminding myself that I am dealing with the "mob" when doing business with the USSF. :(
