Has anyone called to see how packages are being considered? If there are still any friggin tickets left? Why their fax situation was such a cluster ******** yesterday and how they plan to give equal consideration? If I wasnt heading out for a final right now, Id do it myself.
Fact is, there's no way to know if they are out of tickets just yet. They have to go through a thousand or so applications that came in the past two days - and they can't tell if there is one ticket per game or 7 tickets per game. So they won't have processed the applications until at least end of day today.

I can deal with the not notifying us they have our applications for a day or two.

My problem is they don't give a time frame when they tell you your application has been accepted or if you are put on a waiting list.

I thought it was more along the lines of: "If you haven't heard from us by Monday, contact us". Of course, those with confirmed faxes or FedExes wil be able to prove delivery.

I think we are supposed to receive a confirmation that they received our ticket order within a couple of days.

I actually don't expect them to be able to tell us if we got tickets until January.

Back from the first final, about to leave for the second. I guess Ill call when Im done with that since no one else can step up apparently.

I agree with them not knowing how many tickets are left but they *should* be able to tell you how the packages are being considered, etc. The whole system is so obviously unfair by now, but Id just like to see how exactly they are handling this. Most likely, just taking whoever is at the top of the pile...

My FedEx package arrived with everyone else's that was on the 8:43 AM truck, at 9:43 AM and was signed for by S. Polk.

All I can do at this point is hope.

Well...I guess UPS beat the Fedex guy by a minute. My UPS delivery was signed for by Polk as well at 9:42 AM this morning.

I spoke to Amy at USSOCCER and she told me to expect an email within 48 hours of delivery/receipt.

Which means that at 7:56 p.m. tomorrow night I better have an email or I am not going to be happy. ;)

I got SO screwed by this process it is making me sick.

From 10 am pacific to 2:30 pm I tried to fax it in to no avail...then sent it FedEx for the Next day 10 am delivery...look at this bull...a 2 pm delivery just wont get it done.

In a word, yes. My FedEx envelope arrived around 9:43 AM and I haven't heard anything. Only the people who faxed to the "broken" or unpublished numbers will be going to Germany.

This whole process has been rotten to the core.

Oh, yea. These threads are full of such cases.

Edit: In fairness, I should say unofficial instead of unpublished. I guess the USSF's fax number in its personnel office is known to some people.

Yeah people just took other fax numbers for the USSF and sent their forms in. At least one of them got a confirm in the 1000s range. My guess is that the whole process ends up in court.
