They now recommend sending it overnite. The woman on the phone in Chicago transfered me to a nice person. I got her voice mail and pleaded. In any event, I can't fed ex, so good luck to those who still can.

Sweet thread title. Like the essence of "breaking news" I say. People will one day utter this phrase like the infamous one about Houston...

Seriously, how hard is it to go to an Office Depot and pick up a new fax?

Saw a lot of people I knew at Kinko's today. Luckily, none of them gave a damn about soccer. Still, I got tired standing around looking clueless. They all wanted to know what I was up to. One guy wrote a whole paper before he left. He shook his head as I just stood there.

We will never win a World Cup as long as the amateurs continue to run the United States Soccer Federation.
They are clueless.

The amazing thing is that I took a day off for this crap. A day off! Christo! I could have done something enjoyable for all my lost pay, but Noooooo....

What worries me is that my fax eventually went through, but with this announcement that the fax was broken, now can I be sure that they actually got it?

At some point, USSF has to split between the Youth Brigade and the National Teams

Yep. I think that time is here now. Look at the labor dispute.
AYSO coaches should NOT be making decisions that affect the USMNT.

I believe that people have been told that, but I also heard from someone at 5:53 that he got through.

After attempting to fax all afternoon, I decided to FedEx the damn thing.
You'd think that if they weren't going to accept additional faxes, they'd go ahead and unplug the machine so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings.
Do they not think these things through?

unplug the machine...or send and email....or put something on their website...or do something logical. oh yeah, nevermind.
