I'm basically hangin out in my school's library by the fax machine, waiting for this thing to go through .
I wonder if it's even sending right at all, since i kinda doubt the intelligence of the guy that set the fax up in the first place.
And, of course, not being someone who is familiar with the operations of ye olde fax machine, i can't tell jsut from teh various beeps and ******** this fax is emitting.
Here's what's happening:
Sometimes, when it dials the number, a slow busy signal will come up right away, along with the intermittent beeps that are what i thought was the "ringing" of the fax machine.
Sometimes, there will be no busy signal right away, and instead there's the "ring" beep that usually comes before the fax screechy noises. This is when iget excited that it's actually going through, only for it to revert back into the "fast" busy signal after about 3 beeps.
what does that mean?

I think, it is so busy, that the fax can't even get a "busy signal" but damned if I know. I am still trying to figure out how to get rid of my paper error sign on my fax here.

I've had my fax on redial since 12:57. Like everyone else, I get a busy signal, or the line rings, but the receiving fax doesn't pick up.
That describes what is happening here too. Anyone from the USSF reading BigSoccer today? Want to explain the SNAFU?

I'm on 35 attempts and counting. This might as well be a lottery.
I have a bad feeling about this. I have my Sony HDTV, but I might start shopping for new recliners soon. I think I'm going to be home next June.

Dear BigSoccer,
Sorry about that, Bill tripped over the fax cable and pulled it out. Nobody noticed until 2:30.
Should be fine now.
Love,

Well in 25 minutes we can watch Tottenham vs. Portsmouth. Fairly good vs. Fairly terrible.

WHAT!!!!
HOW THE HELL CAN THEY LET THAT HAPPEN????
I really am amazed at the levels of incompetence prevalent at Soccer House. You think I'd be used to it by now, but every time I think they've screwed up beyond all belief, they do it again.
