Man, our federation is a joke. For christ sake, I bet they really only do have one machine going.

If we can't get thru in the next couple of hours, are we better off using Fed-Ex??
Can more than 1 order form be in the same Fed-Ex envelope?

what happens if they recieve our fax twice?
8. Can I fax my order and then send a hard copy by mail to make sure U.S. Soccer receives it?
No. If the same order is delivered to U.S. Soccer through multiple methods (i.e. fax AND mail), the order has the potential to be double-processed (in which case any duplication in tickets will not be eligible for a refund or transfer) or rejected (due to exceeding the ticket purchase limitations set by FIFA). U.S. Soccer recommends selecting only one method of delivery for your 2006 FIFA World Cup Ticket order.

Has anyone actually gotten through, and if so, how long did it take?

5. May I e-mail my order back to U.S. Soccer?
No. The only acceptable methods of delivery are by fax or mail. 2006 FIFA World Cup Ticket Order Forms received at U.S. Soccer using any method (i.e. e-mail, in person, courier, etc.) other than fax or mail will not be accepted or processed.

This is beginning to remind of the day that the FIFA website started releasing individual TSTs. The green light would come on for different categories and I would jump on it onlky to find out that I could not get through the process in time. I wasted 6 hours at the computer till they all went red again.

In the same boat as well -- did you send them an inquiring email yet -- any response?
Anyone know if there is any number we can call to speak with someone or have any advice besides waiting and hoping? Thanks!
Any luck for you yet?

USSF must have been watching too much ESPN and thought that no one in America cared about soccer. ;)

So much for the fax machines being armed for the deluge. I'm going on 45 minutes of busy signals now. It rang on their end once, about 30 minutes ago, but the fax on their end didn't receive.

I also noticed a bug on their form. If you enter a category for the third match for the ticket holder #1, that same number shows up in the category field for ticket holder #4. I hope that doesn't invalidate my application.

Nope. I'm pretty certain its hopeless for us. If I don't hear from them by the end of the day I plan on fedexing the package to them and explaing the situation with an attachement. Hopefully, they will understand and still be willing to give tix, if any remain. This is so incredibly disappointing -- I wish there was some way we could speak to somebody about this . . .

I'm not taking that bet. We all know it's true.

Try typing in any info for ticket holder #4. The info goes into the match fields of ticket holder #5. I had to hand write that info.

I have made a copy of the email they sent me telling me I am on their list. I will include that with my FEDEX at the end of the day if indeed I do not receive a password as well. Good idea.
