How about a Class Action Lawsuit??
If my form is refused because THEY had the wrong pricing I am going to be very angry. How can the PDF not be ready. The pricing has been set for weeks!!!
I'm an IT director and if this was my organization, people WOULD indeed be fired. To not have a PDF right and not have appropriate FAX Servers set up is inexcusable!! My god, just outsource the faxing to a REAL IT shop.
I am so disappointed.....

Amazingly, my fax just went through with a confirmation page. I forgot it was even redialing. Just getting ready to leave the office after 9 hours of fruitless faxing and it goes through this time. Just after I gave up, it went through. Fricking amazing. It's 9 PM CST right now.
Good luck everyone!

Started at noon, finally went through right after 7PM. I had planned to FedEx (last pickup was 6:30Pm locally) but my wife talked me into trying the fax again. Frankly, I'm doubtful I will get tickets seven hours after the opening bell.
Looking back on this, assuming (may be a big assumption) that the machines are manned, and think there are very good chances for people to get their faxes through sometime during the night. I don't know if a fax received after close of business (say, 6PM) is equal to a FedEx package received at 8:30AM? I have no idea how they plan to operationalize "first-come, first served." Also, if a fax transmits 3 of 4 pages (which mine did earlier), and so I resend to get the full four pages, do they reject my app because of a "dupe" order?
There must be a better system. I congratulate them on trying to reward persistence and for trying to cut down on brokers, but really, this was madness.
Good luck to all.

This is absolutely ********ing ridiculous. It's been 10 hours of busy signals.
I honestly can't believe this.
I'm past the point of ranting and just want to pull my ********ing hair out every time I get a "busy" confirmation page. Ugh.

Oh, well, at least I will enjoy the large screen set ups in the towns that will be hosting the games.

You also have to understand that it's message board internet dorks like us that even know of the US Soccer list and allotment. Average Joe isn't as likely to know, they are going after FIFA lottery tickets.

I heard that former FEMA director Mike Brown resigned to become ticketing manager at USSF.
"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job."
I swear to god that I dreamt that last night.
I was thinking of starting a thread title on it.

It was my fax machine confirming their fax #, date & time, usage time, # 0f pages & OK result. I'll wait to hear from USSF, but might call them first, as I screwed up my e-mail address with CAPS. Good luck to you & everyone else who has tried this crazy method. I believe that there was less aggravation with the previous lottery process, even amongst the losers!
I phoned & emailed this morning. Via phone, I asked for & spoke with Amy (her name was mentioned elsewhere). At that time, she told me not to believe the rumors on BigSoccer. She added that if I got a fax confirmation on my end, then USSoccer had received my fax.
Amy just called me on my cellphone (which should mean that she got my email as well!) to advise me that the fax machine was working after hours & is working now. I thanked her for getting back to me & received her permission to post this & mention her name. She also mentioned that there really was someone there at 7 AM signing for the FedExs, etc.
Thanks again, Amy!
