To: All of you who managed to get a fax through, could you help satisfy some of our curiosity as to:

1) Which # you faxed to
2) When you faxed it
3) Your confirmation (if any)

Again, my friend also JUST called US Soccer @ 312-808-1300 and they told him as well to overnight b/c fax was no longer working. He too asked about alternate fax numbers of record for US Soccer, and the person there told him that "they were not accepting faxes at this time from those numbers." Don't know if that means old faxes were ok or not, just passing along what he was told.

1) 312-528-7049
2) 10:25am Pacific time (12:25pm Central)
3) confirmation from the max machine that it went through, not from USSF

Faxed from 1PM on...went through around 5:11PM
Only confirmation so far was my fax machine saying it went through.

$60 dollars later, FedEx has the application. What a waste of time and money.

After 4 and a half hours of attempting faxing, I finally FedEx'ed it. Will be there in the morning. Hopefully it won't be too late.

On the US Soccer website there is a (312) 880 or something fax number. I got through to this and confirmed with the federation that forms received at that number will be accepted.

*Disclaimer: Venting ahead*

How can we expect to ever field a first-rate team if we have a third-rate federation that can't even figure out how to receive ticket applications.

REPPED!!!!

Did you get your confirmation email from US Soccer already? Or do you mean a report page from your fax machine?
It was my fax machine confirming their fax #, date & time, usage time, # 0f pages & OK result. I'll wait to hear from USSF, but might call them first, as I screwed up my e-mail address with CAPS. Good luck to you & everyone else who has tried this crazy method. I believe that there was less aggravation with the previous lottery process, even amongst the losers!

Another update, just spoke with US Soccer one last time. They are NOT accepting any more faxes INCLUDING to the 312-808-1301 number. Those that go there will NOT be accepted.
Several people, myself included, were able to get though just after 5 PM. What time did you speak with US Soccer? You posted (#379) at 5:23 PM. Was there a cut-off time for the original fax #?

I and my friend spoke with the US Soccer office @ around 5:30. That is when they said that faxes weren't being accepted anymore.

RE: what Bonji said "On the US Soccer website there is a (312) 880 or something fax number. I got through to this and confirmed with the federation that forms received at that number will be accepted."

My friend an I also (independent of one another) asked if we could fax our order to (312) 808-1301, which is the general USSF fax number, and the represenatative said NO to both of us. I am not sure who Bonji spoke with, but it seems like USSF is giving different info to different people.

Any thoughts????????

My fax finally went through at 6:20 pm, EST. I hadn't looked in this thread until now. When I say it went through, that is the confirmation time and pages sent. Sent it to the fax number on the form. Now two days of waiting with fingers crossed. Then maybe some bizarre get rich schemes straight out of a bad screen play.

I didn't get the name of the person but I'm going to rip out his balls if it doesn't count. I spoke to him about 1 pm.

Bonji-
That would be my sentiment as well... I am just trying to figure out if I should send my order to 321-808-1301 or not, as I just tried it and there was no more busy signal.

Perplexed to say the least.

Seems like USSF is (a) going to have a ton of explaining to do on a number of levels; and (b) going to need to offer something to many loyal supporters not to loose donations over this.

For those that are curious:

My fax went through to the 312-528-7049 number at roughly 5:45 EST. My only confirmation is that my fax machine said it went through OK.

I also faxed it to 1301 number. Spoke to a lady when i called the us soccer office at probably around 3:30-4 pm eastern and she said I could. My fax went through at 5:05 pm. Then I saw the thread that those would not be accepted so I called back and got the same lady at around 5:30. She told me faxing to that number will not be allowed but if I did already and it went through that I would be all set.

Just curious do you guys think there quota has been filled by and now and if the fedex's have a shot at getting tickets. In other words if my fax went through do I have a good shot at getting tickets.
