I am also giving up pretty soon.

Seems a shame, since I work in downtown Chicago, and can pretty much see US Soccer House out of my window...

Sweet. Do me a favor and flip them off on your way home.

Good Lord...I haven't done ********** all day because I was so excited about this. Maybe when the next U.S.S.F. president gets elected he won't have his head buried so far up his ass.

Overnighting it. ********** this **********.

So, we're talking fewer than 3400 tickets available (8% of Gelsenkirchen capacity for group matches).

How much does fed ex/ups charge for the fastest delivery method to chicago?

I know it depends on your location, but whatever quote you can give me is nice.

Yes. Looks like they screwed up. I already(file name doc_6_525) with 110, 83, 66 and 49.50. Now, the application on the site at http://www.ussoccer.com/schedule/content.sps?iType=4165&icustompageid=16441 is using file name doc_6_531 and has prices of 110, 66, 40, and 39...

You realize though, it is on first come first serve basis, right?
so, you could miss out with people who keep sending their over the next 12 hours...

by the freaking way, how much do you want to bet that alot of ticket addresses have Italy and the Czech republic on them?

Yeah, I am just evaluating my options. I checked online and have another 1.5 hours or so before I have to head to fed ex to make the last overnight mail.

Aren't the group stage prices wrong on the application?

On the Fifa world cup site, prices for the group stage are:

1- 100.00 €
2- 60.00 €
3- 45.00 €
4- 35.00 €

On my app, the prices are:

1- 110.00 €
2- 83.00 €
3- 66.00 €
4- 49.50 €

And on the USSoccer.com presale email, the prices are:

1- 110.00 €
2- 66.00 €
3- 50.00 €
4- 39.00 €

So, what the hell will I be paying, if by some grace of God my applocation ever goes through?

Rick

If you donwload the form again you'll see they fixed it. That means I had to just complete the 2nd page agian with the new correct figures (the difference is the added charge the USSF has on top of the FIFA prices). I assume they'll reject all forms with the earlier prices even though it was their fault.

Lucky me I haven't got through via fax yet.

I wonder if I have a better chance, having ordered cat 1 tickets. I would think most will be ordering other category tix. Any ideas?

What a bunch of morons. How long have they had to prepare for this?

I believe what may have happened there was that the Brain Trust at USSF tried to convert Euros to Dollars on the form.

judging by the ticket broker prices I'd be happy if I got my USSF tix for 100 more euro.

I believe the original form had the Round of 16 prices for Cat 2 and Cat 3 for the group round, the Round of 16, and the Quarterfinal. The current form has the group tickets reduced for those Cats to what they were supposed to be and the Quarterfinal ticket higher, like it was supposed to be.

(Plus the old form had the Cat 1 Quarters at Round of 16 prices, rather than the higher price -- a 66 Euro difference).

Yes. Based on the document numbers, it appears they've revised the pdf seven times in the last 3 hours. Obviously a top notch group with their act together. ;)
