Don't you get it?
we're not their customers.
we are merely sheep to be sheared in as many imaginitive ways as possible.
We are really only a small part of their customers. The vast majority of their customer are the members of US Soccer, so that's everyone from a youth player up to pro player and the different pro teams in MLS and USL. It doesn't make up for not having a good system or at least testing the system your going to put in place. But they are really a nonprofit that's more like a membership organization rather then a consumer products company.

The second one looks to be for "Friends of US Soccer" the first is for "Pre-Sale" The friends number is a fax number cause I dialed it, but Im afraid to use it since it may be a different sale.

Faxes are getting through, and I've been told they're trying to get rid of the busy signals. No specifics on how, exactly. And no idea how the success-to-failure ratio compares to, say, Ticketmaster when a hot concert or game goes on sale, but the educated guess is that it's probably not that much different.

 Well, I am in a panic too. I have e-mailed them for my password. I have been a member for so long I can't even remember when I signed up. I never dreamed I would miss out on this *$^&%^ e-mail.
I am planning to FedEx, if I ever get my #$(*%(*&$ password... Yeah, it's first-come first-serve, but the window is open until, like, January. I will panic until then though!!

They need to just shut down the fax line and accept only mail deliveries. This is simply not fair at all. They NEVER should have allowed faxes in the first place if they weren't going to allow email.
I finally gave up and fedexed the thing.

I'm amazed at how many people aren't getting through.
I got the order form at about 9:40am pacific time (20 minutes early), had it completed at about 10:17, and my mom, who sent it in (I don't have a fax) said it was busy at about 10:20am. At 10:25am she left me a message saying she received a letter from the fax machine saying "Transmission Complete."
I had to call her twice to make sure.
If you guys don't get tickets, I will have two USA TST-3s from Euroteam for people to buy.
But good luck to everyone. Just keep trying - to the guy who said he gave up after 3 tries and 10 minutes... wtf man... You should spend all afternoon on this ********.

Well that would be great for you.
I emailed them but I don't expect any answer until after they've run out of tickets.

Can you tell us what number you faxed to? I'll be ticked if all the lines are working except the number they sent me (and others here).

once again, if the machine is broken they need to SHUT IT DOWN AND SEND OUT AN EMAIL TELLING EVERONE TO SEND IN THEIR ORDERS VIA FEDEX, etc. This is effing criminal that die-hard fans are going to get screwed because of this snafu combined with the dupicate order refusal.
I'm going to go beat my dog now.

I totally agree with the sentiment that this is completely ridiculous. I got the application early as well had it ready to go at 12 Central and busy for close to 3 1/2 hours. Tried 4 different fax machines as well...had to have tried at least 100 times and nothing. I finally gave up as well, as I have 2 finals tomorrow to study for, and sent it overnight through the mail. I included a letter stating my displeasure and how if the thing would have worked properly i would have been right on the money the minute it was officially open. If I miss out on going to Germany for this I am going to be incredibly p1ssed.
