Alright, I'm starting this thread to get some things rolling. This can serve as a thread to put out ideas and toss them around. Set up meeting dates and stuff. So, let's get it going! :)

WHAT WE HAVE:

Groups: Northenders (V-Army and Legion 04)
People: Average Game...20-40 people
Materials: Numerous Flags, the Jersey Flag, 2-3 drums, and some other stuff

I have an idea for the first three games. I think that a joint pamphlet should be made and distributed by Northenders before the start of these games. It gives a brief synopsis of who we are and what we stand for. We could have 2 V-Army people and 2 Legion people handing these out. We talk to the front office and see if they can help us make 5,000 or so of these handouts.

As for Legion's situation, I believe that we are going to have t-shirts made. I know that some of the V-Army senior leadership was looking for a "Sea of Yellow/Gold" and I fully support that idea. We may use the same general idea that V-Army has on their shirts, because they are well done.

Some things I know that I'm going to do...
1. Go to the Northend Tailgates (Who knows, maybe bring some road flares? :) )
2. Watch most of the road games at Buffalo Wild Wings
3. Bring two flags to every game (Pirate Flag and the Crew flag I got for being a season ticket holder)
4. Make it to at least one road game
5. Do a better job with high school outreach, I'm giving a speech on the Ultras Movement in my English class tomorrow, go figure

How 'bout that eh? I know, big whoop, anyways, I think that we should try and get a meeting in mid January. I'm going to Spain on Thursday, so I'm basically booked through the holidays. If we can get something scheduled, I'd like to have a face-to-face meeting. Not necessarily plan out all of '06, but just see what we want to do and stuff. Along with that, I think we should try to be back in contact with the FO by mid February.

Columbus 'til I die!

yeah, that's a good one too lol. Nothing like breaking one of those bags open before that lovely Open Cup match at Jesse Owens.
I'm still just a fan of the drinking game called "Stand and Drink." It's very easy, you just stand(or sit) around and drink.

I don't see why it wouldn't work..

Also, some good ol' fashioned drinking card games could be worthwhile on decent days, with little wind; "Screw the Dealer", anyone?

Pools. Folks, pools are the key to a good tailgate.

Set it up each week and the masses will come.

So, who's going to be a Polar Bear for the home opener? Swim when it most likely will/could still be pretty cold out?
