This poll result is very funny. The USA are in second as favorites to win the WC.

If the US gets a win vs either italy or czech and ties the other they could take first place in the group and avoid brazil. If they win the group they will play someone soft and most likely make it to at least the quarters again.

Wow that's an understatement. IF the US get a win vs either italy or czechs?? That alone isn't going to happen, even though italy and czech rep are both overrated. The point is, USA isn't going to make it out of their group stage, they just aren't good at soccer! You Americans can say you're the best at basketball and football, but you just aren't good at soccer. Give it up.

Are you for real? You really are confused. Of course Brasil is favored over everyone. Did you see the past 3 world cups? The only one they lost was in the final against the host country. Do you think anything that has happened in the 12 years in between any of those tournaments actually effected their success in the World Cup? Why would anything that's happened in the past 4 years leading up to this Cup make them out of favor against..Mexico and USA? Mexico and USA? I mean, they're both good, I hope USA wins it all and I think they have a slight slight chance, but Brasil's World Cup record speaks for itself I'm pretty sure most people (if you include non-English speakers since everyone here is apparently England-biased) would agree they are favorites once again.
England on the other hand, I can't believe how many England lovers are on this website. They're gonna choke once again. People seem to have the idea that their national team is so great, apparently just because their professional league is the best, while it's stacked with African and non English European stars. And one guy gave me all kinds of hell for saying they think the national team is great just because of the league, but I don't see how else someone could get so confused and think that England has a great national team. They are very good indeed, but they are not top 5 and thus have an off chance of winning it all. But I personally think England will not make it to the round of 8.
