now dominate the ML on six stars with a team mostly of 70's stats.
Yes, I play the game far too much. For months I wasn't anywhere near this good at it.
Wow you must be pretty damned good. I get my arse handed to me on the 3-star setting unless I play as a good team vs a crap team. Like Arsenal vs Chelsea for example...
:D

Chelsea and Milan are the sh!t on this game.
Arsenal are quite good, but only if you play Henry and give him the ball.
I usually play with teams with high work-rate/team-work levels because of the coverage they will give you on the pitch.
also: imo human players are much easier than the cpu at 6 stars - mainly because the cpu puts tactics on - however there are guys out there who are just solid.

Further proof (as if it were needed) that PES is the most realistic footy game out there ;)

Played a guy with really shite lag tonight. It was like being on 56k dialup.
Ugh, thank god we were playing pens and I beat him.

A lot of the problems are with UK ISPs (BT for sure anyway) who just throw 2mb down peoples phone lines without first checking if the line can handle it. More bandwidth than the line can handle can actually rape your connection far more than dropping to 1mb or indeed 0.5mb....
...on a good day I can get 2mb down my line, but I've also had some pretty choppy games of Killzone since I went from 0.5mb to 2mb - which seems counter intuative but hey

I'm on a LAN so this thing is reasonably smooth with the occasional lag jump now and again...
I had problems on-line with Halo, but the rest of my on-line games seem fine, infact better than fine.

It is definitely time consuming and very involved. Just got it a month ago.
Try to play a full game about once a week with some people I know who have it, but usually do not have that kind of time and stick to 1 player games.
I'm thinking of getting a new graphics card, specifically for this game.
Any suggestions?

example in master league mode the com will normally play it's teams default formation/line up,online everyone plays their own prefered players, formations and tactics.so you might play brazil five times in one night but it'll never be the same team twice.
Ahh, I miss broadband! It would be great to play online.
Clan, what sort of price range are you looking at? I recently got an Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT and am quite happy with it... I picked it because I thought it had the best reviews in the price range I was looking for. I think it was like 150USD though. Previously I'd only pay around $50 for a video card. Geforce 3 Ti is a great card (at least by what some might consider my 'ancient' standards :) ) for what I'm guessing is a very low price these days.
I normally don't put a price on quality.
That being said, I won't spend as much as a new computer would cost ;)

Why bother making your own posts when you can get an unsuspecting puppet to do it in your stead. Ever thought of running for office Clan.

Sorry, didnt see your post until now.
On top of that, basically the only thing I know about computers is how to access the internet and how to install games....I'd be no help.
