...there was a public poll, whose results showed that Lyon (!) is most popular club now.

BUT most popular among housewives (! :D) is Marseille.

PSG, Nantes, Auxerre and St. Etienne are not very far

Le Parc des Princes ne fait plus 48527 places, c'etait avant ou y'avait pas d'ecran Geant dans le stade.


Le match de Rugby Stade Français - Biarritz, le stade etait archi pleins 46 000 supporters au Parc ( y'a aucun risque de debordement des supporters au Rugby)


Pour les jeux du PSG le stade a aux maximun 43 500 places ( à 43 500 places le stade et archi pleins pour un match de foot)



pour les plus fana supporters, je dirait sans hésiter Lens, ya pleins de voitures au couleur de leur club...

à Guingamp, ya plus de monde dans le stade que dans leur Ville.
Guingamp 8400 Habitans à une Affluence de 9000 de Moyenne en L2, alors qui sont dans les derniers de L2.

Marseille still get massive attendence and backing despite no trophies in over a decade. Still they have remained competitve and have made two Uefa cup finals in the last six years. Lyon have a better team at the moment but I think we are still the bigger club. They must prove that they can rebuild their team when the core players from the start of their success move on, it takes a few generations of strong teams to equal a big club.

You start with Super Frank Ribery and build around him.... The youth system has had some success the past couple of years, Flamini, Nasri, these guys aren't chopped liver. If the acadamy can produce players like that then bonus, the rest is just poaching players from L2 or lesser L1 squads without being stupid. The latter has been the problem the last 5 years.
