Interesting Beckenbauer perspectives.

`Speaking from personal experience, if you have a tough group you go into the tournament very concentrated,' he said.

I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm confused.
Where is the US Men's News or Analysis in that article?

Agree - wrong forum.
Anyway, is it just me, or does it sound rather inappropriate for the president of the WC Organizing Committee to be commenting about who his "favorites" are to win, and to be making comments about top teams getting difficult draws, on the eve of the draw itself?

Hardly wrong forum. There is much concern here regarding THE DRAW and whether the US must play seemingly difficult or seemingly easy teams during the round robin phase. It should take little imagination to understand the meaning of what Beckenbauer is saying in the context of BA's job to get the players psyched.
