So, last night I went to this bar in Carlisle called the Market Cross Pub...they had a pretty good selection of beer (lots of different German, Belgian, Danish, one Chinese kind which I didn't try, etc etc)...AND the walls were decorated with several Carlisle United football scarves, one Liverpool scarf, and a Newcastle United scarf. I will be visiting this place more often.
On a disappointing note, I went to a "British pub" in Washington DC the night before called the Union Jack. There was nothing British about it, just a huge Union Jack flag and menu items named after British people/things. Boooo. The girls were hot though.

I was in town for 9am sharp yesterday so I didn't have all the crowds. I still ended up shouting at some idiot woman who decided to bring her fúcking huge pram into HMV which has isles that can barely fit one person down. :rolleyes:

Plus my parents get in to town tonight. :eek:
To cap it all off I'm putting my house on the market Jan 3 so I'm trying to have the carpets cleaned, have a patio built in the backyard, finish all minor repairs and stage the house all by the end of the year. Did I mention my wife's pregnant again and I don't think i will be getting any until May. :D
I guess it could be worse I could still be in the Army.
