After further review, Bears were 2 and 0 against the Packers, and the Bears are in the playoffs, while the Packers ended 4 and 12, and somehow managed to lose to Detroit.
Sad? Nah. I'd rather support my own school than be at all affiliated, in any way, with Puke University or the North Carolina Tarholes. Where's my Duck Fuke t-shirt, I might wear it out tonight.
I seem to forget, who won the National Championship last year? Oh yes "After further review" it was the Tar Heels. Though I wouldnt mind a Duck Fuke shirt. Go here: www.truthaboutduke.com
Duke, absolute ********.
And a Sox fan? I actually feel sorry for you (and dont give me 1908, I already know that)

Duke 58- Maryland 39. Midway through second half. Yawn. Is anyone going to challenge us this year? :D

Tom Brady- TD pass first drive of game
Plummer attempted pass over the middle to Rod Smith- INTO!!
Corey Dillon 12 yard TD run

repeat this about 5 more times and you got the outcome of saturdays primetime showdown.
Pats fans are understated, therefore I am quietly confident.

Anyways, did anyone notice how much stronger the AFC is than the NFC?
All 4 afc teams are frickin dangerous... nfc teams for some reason are lacking that Ooooomph.

My prediction: Colts vs. Seahawks Super Bowl XL

It seems to me the AFC just has a few teams (Denver, Indy, NE) who dominate their division, while the NFC is more consistent.

AFC teams won 34 games against NFC teams, and NFC won 30. And Philly was 3-1 against AFC teams while 0-6 against their own division.

AFC looks more like the ACC this year :D

very true. but having such great teams at the top of the conference can make our representative in the super bowl stronger.
think about it. the seahawks and panthers, in my opinion, are the 2 best chance to represent NFC.
they have to beat, redskins, and bears. UNproven teams, 50/50 chance.
Oh ya, PLEASE dont let the Redskins go to the super bowl.

now think about the patriots, best team in the country.
they have to beat broncos, which is a great matchup.
after that, they are not even CLOSE to the super bowl.

While I dont think they have a chance, skins are on a 6-game win streak, and if they go to the big time I can die a happy man.

Other than that I agree. I guess that's why super bowls are usually duds. NFC doesnt necessarily have the 2nd strongest team in the nation.

No, though I hope to (though my grades arent exactly great), and no, as it says in my location, I live in Chicago
As for Mr Zinn, it is a wonder that Duke gets the best recruits every year, and still barely ever manages to win the championship every 10 years.

I don't think he ever gets in trouble...he wears the pants in that relationship.

I finished my assignement so I went out tonight. I had a ruddy good time as well.

I'm being quiet so I do wake HER! no doubt my snoring or a thunderous fart will wake her.
Happy times.

Toon what are your thoughts on the BS makeover?

Personally I loved BS the way it was. I miss my huge rep bar and my post count. I've made my feelings about this known but alas it came to nothing.

I'll probably get used to it...but I don't know. Things just seemed more focused on getting new members rather than keeping the current ones happy.

People like Wonka have already left the site and I can see more people leaving because of the changes.

Ask me in a couple of months how I think the changes have gone and I'll tell you then after a settling in period.

I honestly don't know how long I'll still be a member of this site at the moment.
