Well as much as I'd love to continue this wonderful conversation I can hardly keep my eyes open.
See you all around and hope we can do this again sometime.

I'll see your 3900 people, and lower it to about 1750. :p
Good gracious, is the student to faculty ratio 1:1??

Holy Moses, that's a nice building. I'll see your research building with my SECOND quad (that's right, two quads!)

You crazy yanks. I can't find any pics of my uni on the internet so I'll have to take some myself. This hasn't finished!

:D
At last count, we had slightly over 200 full-time faculty members, so the ratio is something close to 9:1.
What do you Deacons do with those TWO quads, I wonder? :p

Well, one has all the classroom buildings and dining halls, the other has dorms, a bank, a post office, a bookstore, a Subway, the chapel, and the Deacon Shop (from which I have practically my entire wardrobe).

I must say, out of all the things your fine university has I am jealous of the Subway. Hmmmm Hmmm. Of course, I would prefer a Jersey Mike's. :D

Jersey Mike's, what's that? Subs? Sounds familiar. By the way, we also have a Pizza Hut (that can deliver to your dorm room, even!) and a Chick-Fil-A. I ate waaaaaaaay too much Chick-Fil-A.

You're making me hungry. My school actually has very good food, but I still miss fast food.
Jersey Mike's is the best of the national sub franchises. We've got them in northeast Tennessee. You should hop over and try one out.

I would hop over there, but right now I'm in Pennsylvania...which I assume would have Jersey Mike's, but I haven't seen any. We just have Subway and Quizno's.

They should be in Pennsylvania, but you could always drive to New Jersey. You could actually go to the original one, but I can't remember which city it is in.
I'm going to do a little reading and then hit the sack. Night folks.

Arizona State, the finest Pac-10 school of 'em all. If by finest you mean the top-rated party school, the unofficial Playboy recruiting ground, and the school with the loosest education-related admission requirements of the conference. :DPhoenix is so goddamn hot are you from Arizona? I got in-laws in Tempe and Glendale.

I lived in Chandler/Tempe for seven years, but I'm from the northwest.

Did you see them against Tampa? If they put that kind of offensive effort out (it was QUITE offensive, really) against Seattle, they'll lose by 30. I don't think they will, but hey, I'm hoping Taylor gets suspended just because it helps the 'Hawks. :D

What's the ranking based on, anyway? According to this link of US schools:
http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/brief/natudoc/tier1/t1natudoc_brief.php
...Wake Forest is in the upper echelon of US unis.
I know for a fact that Wake is much better than GW.
2 schools that I might go play football at are 115th and 120th respectably. The rest are not on the list. :o

Nice avatar Graeme. Never got into northern soul but I dig that logo ever since I've seen it on some flight jackets in the ska scene.

Every win after this will be like a dream for me. Already 6 wins in a row, a playoff birth, and Chris Carter eats it ("WILL NOT make the playoffs!"). I'm starting to feel like sarabella last year
