Congrats to the Longhorns. A great game all around, just as I hoped for. Young was so athletic and dangerous. Just when he looks to be sacked, he pulls away to do something spectacular. Incredible, a missed PAT and FG and Texas pulls it off. Good job. Well, gotta go console my USC associates.

EDIT: On second thought, I can see why Carroll went for it on 4th and 2 with about 2 minutes to go. Get that first down and kill the clock. Oh well.

Congrats to the Longhorns, whoever they are, on winning the National Title, whatever that is.

Morning all. No class for me until 11, so I thought I'd come on here and chill a bit.

Congrats to the Longhorns, whoever they are, on winning the National Title, whatever that is.

The Longhorns are the University of Texas football team, and the National Title is the Super Bowl of college football.

I'd say the winning the national title in college football is the equivalent of winning the Champions League.

Not by the score, which is what matters.

Hmmm that could be said. It also could be said that Texas got 6 points they shouldn't have.

I've never understood American Football. God know's I've tried. I've watched at least the first 45 minutes of approx 3 SuperBowls, but I just don't get it.

Don't watch the SuperBowl to try to get a handle on it. Watch the college games because they have the best explanations done by the announcers. You could also watch the NFL if you could catch a game on Fox or called by John Madden (though I think he retired this year).

Did they broadcast NFL Europe over in Europe? If they did, did the announcers ever explain anything?

They have some American Football games on Greek SuperSport, but all the explaining is done in Greek, which really doesn't help my predicament.

They broadcast it on Sky over here but the fact its on during the middle of the night and on a sunday/monday doesn't help. I watch it when I can.

Yeah, well, even if the refs had made the right call, Texas still might have scored anyway.
