What is the dream / nightmare group for your team?

OK... so we now know the format for the world cup draw on Friday:

Pot A: Brazil, Germany, England, Spain, Mexico, France, Argentina, Italy

Pot B: Ghana, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Angola, Togo, Ecuador, Paraguay, Australia

Pot C: Croatia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine

Pot D: Iran, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Costa Rica, Trinidad & Tobago, United States, Serbia & Montenegro*

* S&M will be allocated a group with Brazil, Argenina, or Mexico so cannot be drawn with a European seed.


Here's how this works, simply take your team and put them into two groups - choosing one team from each of the other available pots. First the group that you would most like to be drawn with, and second; the group which you would least like to be drawn with. Please keep it realistic - two teams from the same pot or confederations cannot be drawn together - unless it's a Euro seed and a pot C team. Oh yeah, and also why did you pick these groups? It doesn't necessarily have to be the easiest/most difficult teams.

Pretty self explanitory really.... we have a score to settle with Poland. The seeded teams all look pretty scary but France look the most beatable, at least on current form. Brazil and Holland are obviously the two to avoid from the other groups with perhaps Ghana or Ivory Coast from Pot B.

For Mexico Worst case scenario does not depend on their oponents
Worst case is loosing the first game, then the whole Cup is an uphill struggle and any team starts to look like Brazil .

Best case :
Mexico wins the first game and Their oponents in the second game still have no points . This is a great situation to be in because your oponents are playing for their survival and desperate .

To be pedantic, your own 'worst' selection of U.S.A., Brazil, Netherlands and Paraguay equally cannot happen... Paraguay cannot be drawn with Brazil.

I don't think so. Poland, on current form, is one of the better european sides, and they proved in qualifying that they have no problem beating sides like trinidad and tobago(comparable to wales & austria)
