Liz, terrorism final? sounds interesting. what are you studying at school?
Yeah, terrorism final. I'm going for my master's in International Policy Studies (got a BA in Language Studies) right now. Getting the general MA in International Policy Studies, we're also required to specialize in a certain area (such as International Trade, International Environmental Policy, Human Rights, etc), and I'm still in limbo about my specialization. Right now I'm declared as International Negotiation/Conflict Resolution, but still may change that to Terrorism.
Then again, maybe I'll change it after next semester to International Security, because I'll be taking two security courses (Nontraditional Security, and Comparative National Security & Policymaking).
Who knows.

i was a history major. currently working in the insurance business for an insurance broker. I have a friedn who works for the NSA who is trying to get me a job there, at least he was a few months ago, no luck yet, so i don't think i'll go for it. I'm contemplating going back to school for something.

They've just thrown me a loop though and added a new course for next semester, "European Security and Integration post Cold-War."

Do you speak at least one foreign language? 3.0 or better GPA in undergrad?

Probably. People here speak every language under the sun. You'd have to do a custom language program because there are no Latin classes, but it's all good. It's said that anyone could come here and speak any language under the sun, and they'd be able to find a professor at the school who can speak it.

Looks really great. I dated a woman who went to the school in Brattleboro VT that is big into TOEFL and all that. Sounds like there's some overlap but I guarantee you she didn't study terrorism!

considering i read 500 page books about Saudi Arabia for fun, i'd say we've got that covered. :D
but i probably miss half the crap in the books anyways!

well, i graduated from Illinois Wesleyan with no debt (thanks pops!! :D , real lucky there) so i could take on a loan, but i love chicago. I think if I go back to school it will be to teach in high school!
