Don't you know that we don't negotiate with terrorists. :D

:p

Cool how much longer do you have? I'm ABD but that D is going to take some time.

It's a two-year program, and I'm just finishing up my first semester.

Next semester I get to look forward to International Politics, French, Nontraditional Security, and Critical Infrastructure Protection.

can't wait to drive home:

Inbound I-290 from Thorndale to I-90/94/Circle 171 minutes

that is only about 25 miles.

I think I would spell that fun with a capital 'PH'.

at least that gives you plenty of time to listen to tunes.....

well, i'm going to go to the gym after work. side streets only. I think I'm going to be working out for longer then my usual 30-40 minutes. I've got my Mp3 player and they have like 8 big screen TVs so its not too boring. i'm hoping most of the snow has stopped around 6ish and the roads have been being clears so it won't be as bad.

I just came from over by circle and drove home local the whole way. Took like 45 minutes.

Doesn't look like it is stopping anytime soon. Ole Tommy Skilling says up to 6 inches before all is through.

Tom Skilling is an idiot. I read somewhere that it is supposed to taper off after 6. and if it was only 45 minutes locally from Rosemont, which is usual for me when I drive home on side streets, it might not be that bad on the side streets.

A friend of mine recently moved to Chicago after having spent his whole life in either Mexico or CA.

I think he's freezing his ass off right about now.

Not as bad right now as the last 2 or 3 days, Liz.
High was like 15 or so. It had to warm up in order to snow on us today.

Mmm.. I'll stay here where it's "warm," thanks. In the mornings it's around 36, then the high has been between 55 and 60 for the past few days.

We're not likely to see 60 until May or so and even then only on occasion.

After reading about you guys getting snowed on and being in the teens I almost feel bad complaining that it is 60 here today. I am still not going to say that it is warm here, but I promise I won't complain for the rest of the day.
