Expected.. FIFA didn't want a ball that was smarter than their president.. :)
If they are ready for technology, I would guess the bugs in the ball will be worked out before 2010..

Smart decision.
It's not about the technology. It's about the people incorporating the technology into the flow of the game. And there's not enough time between now and next summer to get it right.

Probably the best way to put it.
I'm not sure to the extent they plan on using this technology put I'd like to see its limits. Preferably they only use it to determine a goal. I'd like to see the AR keep some sort of responsiblility.

Boy I hope you are right... Using it for anything else other than to determine if a goal was scored or not would be a disaster I think.
