If I'm not mistaken, A1 is usually the spot allocated to the host nation. Not such a big deal...

I have a feeling America's going to be grouped in this one. I ran 4 mock draws and USA ended up in this group twice. I was kinda hoping we'd have a 50/50 chance of landing in the same group as Spain. :)

The US now has a history of a big upset in the first round, so this might not be so bad. The Germans would be expected to win, pressure situation, US with nothing to loose. Who knows. Great match up though.
