I will make this simple so anyone can coherently understand.

Obviously this is an Ecuador forum, and most us posting here, surely,are from Ecuador.

So if you come from another part of the world and try to insult us, you realize you will make more enemies then friends. So please, potential bashers, respect us, and I promise, the respect will be returned.

As Astabooty said, cards will not be handed out at the first draw. I will be willing to give atleast 2 warnings before a card is shown. But in extreme cases, don't expect me to pull any punches.

Now have fun kids! :D

Just to elaborate on cards. Sure, no one wants trolls here. But I bet no one wants to be one of those boards where non-ecuadorian fans (in this case) do not wish to come in because they will get flamed for showing a different opinion. so lets try not let people troll, but lets be leniant.

I am going to make a brief announcement.

I am sure all of us here are aware that there are certain people on these boards who don't think very highly of us, for whatever reasons.

We tried to show patience, and I know it has been difficult to ignore them at times, especially when the insults become personal. Even I have been involved in this "war". Can't say I am proud of it, but I love my team, my native country, and the people from it, too much to have people disrespect us. But I know that they will not change. We cannot change them. But we can control our actions. Let us teach them by example how to treat people with dignity and respect. I know for some of us, it will not be easy, but when the moment comes when they do insult us in any way, try not to respond in anger. Think before you hit that send message button; think about how your message will either hurt or make someone angry enough to respond and escalate the battle of words.

And if anyone who reads this is a visitor from another board, we want to welcome you with open...keyboards. Want a peaceful, and relaxing enviornment where we can discuss in our passion: futbol, y Ecuador.

There is a place for smack talk and that is World Rivalries forum. Not here or anywhere else on bigsoccer. What is said there, stays there...the bigsoccer Las Vegas. :D

And remember, we mods lead by example. I wouldn't expect anything less from myself.

alright ladies, enough!

grow up and forget stop dwelling in the past! some of you are also guilty of things that warrent warnings, but i am willing to let it slide if you all agree to cut the crap. i am warning all of you that if it continues, someone is going to hear about it, and if it gets out of control, i will recommend closing this thread, since we cannot talk about futbol.
and we should all have a right to our views without having to worry of being accused by others of "smoking crack" and the like of immature comments. i know some of you guys think you are high and mighty and above the rest, but in these boards, we all all equal and should have the right to express our thoughts within reasonable boundaries. now if i have to define those boundaries for any of you, let me know. otherwise, continue to talk about futbol and forget this nonsense, it really is getting tiresome baby sitting this board when we should all behave like mature adults.
