I did not like Augenthaler
my favorite coach was always Christoph Daum - but you know because of his
drugs we could not keep him:)
I also liked Rudi Völler..
Skibbe is not bad coach, but I think he is not the best choise..
but better than Augenthaler
What Leverkusen need is HARD COACH with big respect, who can motivate players, who can be hard but who can prize players when they do good job,
coach who know what is TEAMwork....a coach that players like ...a coach who can have some humor, but still keep his respect...we need HARD coach simply....."Beckenbauer"-style coach:)

Sorry had to pick up check for the week...my college tuition doesn't pay for itself :P
Ah yes Hertha...Hertha will be missing once against the Hungarian international Pal Dardai due to a foot injury. However, Gilberto returns to the lineup, which means that our wunderkind Kevin Prince Boateng will most likely return to the bench. One interesting battle for lineup places is in RM, where Ellery Cairo, a resurgent Thorben Marx and Oliver Schroeder are battling for minutes; Marx is in good form at the moment and I think he will start. Marko Pantelic will also return, probably as the lone striker. Dick van Burik is healthy again as well, so out goes Alexander Madlung.
My predicted starting XI:
-----------------------Fiedler---------------------------
Friedrich---------Simunic--------van Burik-----------Fathi
----------------------N. Kovac--------------------------
Marx----------------------------------------------Gilberto
------------Marcelinho------------Basturk---------------
------------------------Pantelic-------------------------

As with Leverkusen, our problem is getting goals from our strikers...however I'm quite surprised Voronin and Berbatov haven't clicked as usual this season.

It's kind of hard for Berbs and Veron to score when they are receiving bbad service from the halfbacks. Berbs and all strikers in general score the goals, I've seen Berbs rushing back to help the D or to make plays for himself.
I say bring in some young "creative" talent.
My lineup would be:
4-4-2
GK- Butt
Defense- Madouni, Juan, Roque Junior,Athirson,
Midfield- Castro, Krzynowek,Ramelow, Freier
Strikers- Lazovic, Veronin
Sub1-Babic(possibly 65th for Ramelow)
Sub2- Barnetta for Freier
Sub3- Berbatov for ?
I think we need to mix it up, we need the young players out there with some veterans and experienced players.
We have to try something new!!
GO BAYER, I hope we can win!!!!!

such a tragedy....we lost home...1:2 agains your team Hertha Berlin..
congratulation Old Lady Hertha....
this is what our coach said:
Michael Skibbe
“I am very disappointing with our performance after the break especially in the last 25 minutes. We failed to cope with Hertha getting an equaliser and lost our way completely. We tried to attack but Berlin had too much individual class.”

You guys played reasonably well. It's just that Marcelinho twice burned your Brazilian CB pairing. He had his best game of the season yesterday.

I know..but unfortunately in soccer is not important if you play good or bad, the most important is how many goals you make, if you turn your goal chances into real goal..simply if you WIN THE GAME...and this time Hertha
made it....this Marcelinho....hm...

A new rule, no Brazilians will be allowed to play club football outside of Brazil!!:)
LOL
Just kidding, the rulee should be that every football club be allowed 3 Brazilians and have them not count as International slots!!!
