Great work Martin.
So good that I even had some doubts cleared up, I had thought that Aguirre had signed some Mexicans for Osasuna, from what I can see this isn't the case. Though I was sure there was someone there.
Just a comment, perhaps you should specify league goals, as some have been scoring big in Cup games, which you have not included.
Very good of you to find Pezzarossi at Racing Ferrol, Ante Razov's former team.

He was actually just released by the club. He is in Luton, though, hoping to sign a contract.

I reckon that a big percentage of those Jamaicans are english born and bred .I never knew that Charltons Kevin Lisbie had played for Jamaica until I saw that list. They seem to be poaching more and more players .I bet they could play a full 11 of english born players.
I also seem to recall watfords Micah Hyde playing for jamaica ....
thankfully most of them are players who wouldnt get picked for england in a million years .
I remember when one of those carribean islands tried to select Julian Joachim..they then realised that he had already played for england under-21's (at the last minute) ...
The leader of the islands football federation got all upset and threatened not to vote for englands world cup bid .He should have concentrated on producing his own homegrown players instead of poaching other countries players...
I bet the concacaf qualifiers will be interesting in the future .. All the carribean teams will be packed with english players ..A game like Trinidad vs. jamaica will be like an english lower divisions league game...

Rahim already is on the list, though apparently incorrectly
Wrexham is in Division 3, which I am not including on my list.
I am not including youth players. Falkirk is not in the Scottish Premier League, so I am not including it.
My site list Norville as English, so unless he has been or is capped for T&T, he is outside my list.

The same could be said of England. Owen Hargreaves comes to mind, who never touched a football on English soil until he was poached from Canada.

He did sign two mexicans, Manuel Vidrio and Carlos Ochoa. Vidrio was a huge failure, playing poorly and ending up in the bench after the fans got mad at him. He returned to Pachuca. Ochoa rarely played and Tigres asked for him back, so he now with Tigres.

Hargreaves had afew countries after him.... england (father) ,wales (mother) ,canada(birth) and germany (resident)....
He never wanted to play for canada so he chose us over the other options .He is just a squad player who comes on as a sub every now and again..
The jamaicans on the other hand... recruited a whole squad of english born players. Luckily they were mostly average lower division players who werent missed much.

I recall watching a Futbol Mundial episode b4 WC98 about the regea boys based in England. They're competative at home & throttled Nigeria in England but otherwise struggle against the other Concacaf sides. Jamaica needs better training facilities & more dedicated players & coaches.
Stern John & Yorke may challenge EPL defenders but the US has never had much problem marking them for T&T. They have the same problem as the Regea Boys.
I heard Dallas' own Stevie Nash from Canada has a brother that plays in the EPL. The burn didn't want use a senior international slot on him. Just curious, do Canadians enjoy full EU status under the crown? They don't seem to have any problems getting work permits.

Hernan Sanchez (Hugo Sanchez's nephew) is playing for a reserve team in Holland. He is like 17-18 years old.
Also, about a year ago, TV Azteca did a report on this kid that plays for Boca Juniors youth teams. I think he is 18 now. (i forgot the kids name and have been trying to find it..but no luck :()

Marty Nash just signed with a division three club. Canadians do not enjoy full EU status under the crown. Many players do have problems getting work permits in the United Kingdom. It now seems that many of the young Canadian talent is now going to Scandanavia.

Thanks for that, I guess I haven't been paying attention.
Regarding what another Mex fan posted, I seriously doubt we are going to see Marquez at Barça, Van Gaal is not up to signing anyone half decent.

Hargreaves said on Canadian national television that he would play for Canada. This was when Canada & Wales had expressed interest & when England was nowhere on the radar screen (sometime in 2000 if memory serves correct).
If Hargreaves "never" wanted to play for Canada, why did he try out for Canada's U17 team? He was cut from the team as an underage player, which is another debate altogether, but the facts would indicate he did want to play for Canada until England showed up. He may be a fringe player for England, but he would have been a star for Canada. Say thanks to Sven for me.

They have the same problems getting permits that Americans do. I remember a couple years ago when PNE was interested in Jason Bent. He impressed them during his trial and was offered a contract. Unfortunatly England's Employment office would not grant him a work permit. He ended up at a Plymth Argyle (sp?) because they appealed the ruling and got him a permit.

If a Canadian or American player has an EU passport, he has the full rights of anyone else in the UK or the EU. Most players got their passports through their parents .
