Juan Carlos Michia, the head Youth Techinal Director for the USSF played pro ball here, has repeatedly stated that the talent level in Houston," does things with the ball that he doesn't see anywhere else in the nation." and would be a prime fit for any Youth Academy in our city.
IMHO, any type of seriously run youth football college would be a massive success given how much talent is spread around Houston. If y'all have never been to a local high school match y'all should. It will be a pleasent surprise! The fields might be bowling lanes and the refs are beyond horrific...but the local lads play right thru all that and when too good programs meet, there are some fantastic individual battles to witness between very savvy and creative players. Not to mention it costs like a buck or two.
