Czech-Turkey. Hm not my dream game after Turkey behaved to horrible
after game against Switzerland.

Hm much better friendlies. I hope they will be scheduled. Or at least we will see some interesting friendlies.

I don't really want to see the Netherlands for a while. Czech Republic have been drawn with them too much lately. Would be nice to play someone else. USA vs Czech Republic played in Washington DC :) I would be there. Would have to cheer for both teams. Maybe I would cheer a tad bit more for the Czech Republic (them being guests and all ;) )

Rumour has it that the Czech FA has approached the Trinidad & Tobago FA about a game next year before the WC.

According to fotbal.idnes.cz the Czechs are also looking at Saudi Arabia and Costa Rica for pre-World Cup friendlies.

Unfortunately there isn't a proper stadium to hold such a game in Toronto, other then the Skydome *shudder*.

According to the T&T forums the game against the Czechs has been confirmed.

In interview with Pravo, czech press reported Karel Bruckner today about possible friendly games of Czech Republic.

He told that he never played with national team against any african team. He wants to prepare on the game with Ghana. They will have talks with Ivory Coast, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Guatemala , Honduras and Nigeria, Camerun. He also told that he would prefer countries that play in the World Cup.

Not to be rude but that would be a waste of your time. You would beat them by 4 or 5 easy. Well, Guatemala might be able to hold out longer but Honduras would get ugly.

I have to agree. I've seen both Guatemala and Honduras play (against the US) and neither of them play similar to the USA. Canada would be a much better choice.

National team manager Vlastimil Kostal told reporters yesterday that the most likely opponents are Saudi Arabia, Paraguay, Costa Rica, and Trinidad & Tobago. The Czechs are closest to finalizing arrangements for the game against Saudi Arabia, which will probably be played in Innsbruck, Austria, on May 26th. The Czechs will probably also play another friendly in Austria, possibly against Paraguay, one day later. The third game, possibly against Costa Rica, will be played in Jablonec on May 31st, and the fourth, possibly
against Trinidad, will be in Prague on June 3rd.

Looks like they decided to go for teams in the world cup for their warm up friendlies.

The Czech football association (CMFS) have confirmed three of the four
opponents the national team will face in the run-up to the World Cup.
The Czech Republic will play Saudi Arabia on May 26th (in Innsbruck or
Ga-Pa, Austria), Costa Rica on May 31st (Jablonec), and Trinidad &
Tobago on June 3rd (Prague). The CMFS are still looking for an opponent
for a friendly game on May 27th, also in Austria. The association had
been trying to arrange a match with Paraguay but those plans have fallen
through.
