I'll get this going....
Domenech, I know you check this board regularly..... So listen up.
Super Frank Ribery!
Don't bother recalling these-
Jean Alain "I play like a 3 legged donkey" Boumsong
Vikash "I can't make a decent pass" Dhorasoo
And this one is bound to stir up some controversy
Fabian "slipper fingers" Barthez
You've done great things for us, but your time is up. I would love to see Coupet as the one and Frey as the two in Germany.... Ain't gonna happen, but one can dream.

No question that Domenech should be sent home.... :)
Someone from the English boards mentioned Steed Malbranque? I guess he's ripping it up right now.
And you can throw me into the Giuly corner as well.

I dont think Vikash should be sent home. When Zizou is injured he's the only playmaker we have. I agree about Boumsong though.

Ribery can be the number 2 to Zidane.

I don't follow the FNT too much but there can't be a NT on earth that wouldn't benefit from Malbranque in his current form.
The guy has ripped off 5 or so straight MOTM performances and looks to be unstoppable right now.

Ok, thats fine. But send Govou home before Dhorasoo please.
Did you see that pass he made to Pauletta recently? top notch.

Thanks for the post..... I'm starting to sway in this direction. 25 years old, peaking at the right time. Lose Dhorasoo and Govou in favor of Malbranque and Ribery.

What he brings to the table...
Phenomonal speed (rate it 8/10)
Astronomical dribbling ability. His ball control is among the best in the Premiership (rate it at least 9.5/10)
Sufficient passing (I'd put him around a 7.5/10)
He suffers greatly in shot accuracy though, so if you're looking for a goal scorer, I'm not so sure (he can score, but he's not one to create the chance for himself, if you know what I'm saying).
If you're looking for a speedy playmaker, then he's perfect.
Another thing, he cannot function out wide, he is a superb central midfielder and works great in close quarters, but he's not going to be the one to make a break down the right and serve a brilliant cross.
I'm not so sure how he'd fit with your current squad but you should take advantage of him as a bench option at least while he's playing as well as he is now.

Patrice Evra on the left, William Gallas in the centre....
Oh and let's try out Ismael before he goes all German on us...
Anyhting but Boumsong at the back!

Gael Clichy anyone...?
Frey...?

Quedrue, Evra, Brechet, and any other left back will not get called up under Domenech..... After all, we all know that William Gallas' astrological sign points to him being a true left back, even if performance dictates the opposite.

What about Malbranque's defensive qualities? Is he ALL attack, can he hold his own in defense?

Malbranque would occupy the exact same position on the field as Zidane. Polyvalent Center Midfielder. He's not going to give you much defense, but that is what Vieira and Maka are for anyways. Ribery can play in this role, but almost seems more dangerous on either wing.

But Mr. Bee only rates his passing at 7.5 out of 10. I would think someone playing in Zidane's position would need more accuracy than that.

You must consider what club team he's playing for. With the options that the FNT would provide, he likely would not have to create as many passing opportunities out of "thin air" as he does at Fulham.
And, to be fair, a goodly portion of that I deducted for his crossing/wide play, which is not superb. If he's allowed to play his natural position in the middle, he's an excellent passer, bordering upon exceptional.

No, he's most certainly not... but he's going to try. He has developed a wonderful workrate over the past few seasons.
