Saha is easily more talented then Govou, Luyindula, Thomer(sp)? and possibly Anelka and Cisse too. Now I know Anelka had all the potential in the world but he's playing for Fenerbahce now... and Cisse is not a good a finisher as Saha nor as consistent. When healthy Saha is a top 3 French forward.

excuse me? The point is that he is returning to the form that made him so promising. And by the way, i'd rather have him over luyindula or govou anyday even if he is made of glass.

I disagree with putting Trezeguet and Henry together - perhaps it was a symbol of the general lack of teamwork from 2002 on but they haven't looked cohesive nor prolific. Take the latest friendly match against Germany for example, the pair looked out of sorts and played poorly to be frank. Enter Anelka - he was the catalyst of a number of promising attacks towards the end of the match. Had he been introduced earlier, I'm pretty sure the team would have scored. Note that the match took place recently in November, with both Henry and Trezeguet on good form.
Of course, the friendly matches next (or should i say this) year will let us decide who should start.
and lastly, the plan was always to have saha and cisse as backup. Their physical and fast paced game will be an asset coming off the bench. Although if cisse continues his form and finally learns how to play smart in the CL and the EPL then perhaps he will have something to say about who starts come summertime.
