both teams played actually terrible. It was not very good soccer game
from my point view.

after game I met many "mad" Bayer04 fans at our Leverkusen christmas fair. They was drinking "Glühwein" and talked about Bayer 04.

Many of them remember at the time of Christoph Daum back. For many of us he was our best coach. Skibbe seems to have not big pupularity between all Leverkusen fans. Some of them liked Auge more then Skibbe, but there are some fans that like Skibbe more. There are several opinions on "coach" issue in Leverkusen. But mostly of us agree that Daum was our best coach we had. He was the big motivator and player had respect for him.

I was so excited that they were going to show the match here in the USA but I was disappointed in our performance. The first half was very boring and filled with few chances and uninspired play. The 2nd half started off well but we showed very little movement towards the net. We have no midfield, its that plain and simple. We need an attacking midfield, someone to move the ball forward and push for goals. Our strikers can not score w/o the ball. If Landon Donovan would have stayed, I wonder if we would have had the same problems.. I hope we pick up some good attacking players., we need them.

The late goal by the Hamburgers is indicative of the season we are having.

Come on lads, pick it up a notch!! :)

What they showed this game in the USA? Can you watch BL games life on T.V? at least some games? This is great.

I´m sorry you did not see better game.

The game agaist HAmburg was simply horrible. I met few fans after the game and we just remembered the good time back.

You are right I was always wondering how it would have been when Landon had stayed with Leverkusen. I had good luck I saw Landon when he played in Leverkusen. He always gave BL special flair. I think he could be big big help for our team. This is pity he left.

Well I hope next time you can see better Leverkusen game. The game when we won.

What do you think about Voronin and Berbatov?

We need more and better good attacking player. I was already thinking about
Freddy Adu. But it seems to be unrealistic.

I think Berbs and Voronin are quality strikers but w/o someone to serve them the ball, it has been hard for them. Berbs is no goals in the last 9 games.

On FSC, they show 1 Bundesliga match. On a rare occasion they show Leverkusen match. This is the first time this season, they have been on tv. The games are not live, they are about 30 min delays.

GO LEVERKUSEN.........If Mauricio Cienfuegos had not retired and was 5 years younger, he would be exactly what the boys need!!!:)
