We are better than most of the teams in SA, we know that, its just the few at the top like Boca and River that gives us trouble. Its just that they are too thick headed to admit it. The difference between us and the MLS is we have the stats and numbers to prove that we are indeed that good.

Great night at CU. Hugo did do great things for Pumas, we musn't forget that, but we just look so much more organised (esp at the back) under Mike Spain. Our league form compared to this cup is a bit Jeckle and Hyde, but the corner is turned (why do I always think that?). Great to see it so full, although where were they all Saturday? (probably sitting on a beach in Playa Del Carmen, bloody glory hunters. Bastards)

Sideshow Bob scoring just made it great, and ******** did he enjoy it.. came over to lead a Goya afterwards...and he put his heart and soul into it... and why not?

Obviously haven't seen the telly yet, but that red looked mighty fortunate for us, no way it could have been more than yellow. And the pen he turned down for us, but I am used to the random nature of refereeing in the americas by now.

Pretty comprehensive, and although they dominated the possesion in the first 3/4 of the match, they didn't really threaten. Bernal had a very quiet night, unlike the away leg.

Anyone know if the we will get the second leg at home again for the final? I think there will be extra time if needed in the final, unlike the earlier rounds.

Absolutely agree that there are a lot of glory hunters in the pumas support, but hey, it's the same for every team. You always get a bigger support for the bigger games.

Anyway, last nights performance was of course fantastic. Pumas would have won regardless of the red card (cannot believe myself he gave a straight red and not a yellow but it's good to see a strong referee). I think he was unsighted for the blatent handball but this is where the assistant referees (linesmen) should do a better job.

Anyway, please let Boca win God so we can beat them too and prove that the mexican league is the best outside europe.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves here,lets be realistic we have a stronge league but not the best out side of europe, we have to win some copa libertadores first and become dominant in the any other conmebol tourneys to be able to become the best and not just top 3 in north and southamerica.Winning this tourney even if it's against Boca wont mean that we're better yet either,but we're on the right track.Not being a cangrejo but just realistic we cant let things go to our heads before we do important things.
