Well they don't need to win a 2-2 tie and they are the champs. Thing is that they need to score since 0-0 would give the cup to Boca.

SISTEMA DE DEFINICIÓN EN CASOS DE EMPATE

En cualquier etapa del torneo, excepto en las finales, en casos en que
exista igualdad de puntos, se clasificará el equipo con mejor saldo de
goles. La diferencia de goles se calcula deduciendo del número de tantos
marcados de los tantos recibidos. En situaciones en las que al término
del segundo partido haya paridad en puntos y diferencia de goles, se
decidirá el ganador a favor del club con mayor cantidad de goles de
visitante.
Si después de estos procedimientos dos o más clubes mantuvieran la
igualdad se ejecutará la serie de tiros desde el punto de penal, conforme
a las normas de la FIFA, hasta definir el ganador Este criterio será para
todas las etapas del torneo.
En caso de empate en puntos al término de las dos finales, se
consagrará campeón el equipo con mayor saldo de goles. De
mantenerse la paridad, se recurrirá a un alargue de 30 minutos dividido
en dos períodos de 15 minutos cada uno. Si al término de este alargue
de 30 minutos suplementarios persistiera la igualdad, se definirá al
campeón por tiros desde el punto penal, conforme a las normas
establecidas por FIFA.
Todas las demás disposiciones de índole general, disciplinaria,
etc., serán basadas en la reglamentación vigente de la Copa
Toyota Libertadores de América.

i still dont understand why Espana opted for long ball.... when Pumas was able to control the ball... they were okay... but too many times they just cleared the ball when they did not have to..

Cruz Azul pudo ganarle a Boca en la Bombonera. A huevo que Pumas tambien puede. Por cierto, hubo un ambientazo en CU, un cabrón que estaba atras de mi no se cansaba de gritar: " ¡Palermo, me voy a ..... a tu mamá! " y piropos afines. Además, la chava que estaba adelante de mí traía un escotazo de aquellos... :D . Lástima que se acabaron las chelas y lástima de arbitraje, hasta parecía argentino el cabrón. Ni peqs, hay que reconocer que Boca manejó el partido inteligentemente y los Pumas se cansaron de fallar en el segundo tiempo. Pero de que pueden sacar la victoria allá, pueden, chingao.

I think they can pull it off, but that's just me.

I think that Pumas missed way too many chances in the second half. Iniguez had one, Marioni had the one that hit the post and the one that hit Pato's face. Also the one that "didn't" go in.

I just hope these don't come back to haunt Pumas in Buenos Aires

After I saw Iniguez miss that most likely play , I thought that might have costed Pumas its champsionship and things made it worse when Marioni missed it and hit the goal poast and what can you say about the controversial play .....All in all I think those 3 missed plays were crucial for Pumas to win Copa Sudamericana no I see a very slim chance .

Yeah, there were too many chances that they should've put away. If some of these would've been put away, the pressure going to Buenos Aires wouldn't be so big.

Missed shots are like missed titles. In this type of tounament you let an open shot go and it costs you the whole thing. I think this should have been stressed more and the fact that they were playing at home, but it sounds like they pulled something together in the second half

In what so Moado ???? , well is kind of obvious here i nthe forum we now Conmebol plays a factor in it . Please dont get wrong i ntrying to play vicitms her e, wer ejust facing the facts in last impartialites. Even basic Argentinains have concurred about some impartialites in the past .


But I must say tonights game was pretty fair in spekaing of the referee and calls. There came that play where was very controversial where the ball was in the net or not. Let me just say if that same circumsatnce would have been favored in Boca espeically in "la Bombonera " the refs woouldn't have hesistated on calling that a gol , just have to look at thngs as they come .

Another bad call usually towards the end of game , was when Pumas very clealry had a conrenr kick due to Pato deflecting the ball. But anyways dont want to do any speculationsy ,But I must say tonights match was pretty fair in speaking of ref performance , and was very surprised ..

Yes, Cruz Azul did it, why cant Pumas. I would like to point out CA had Cardozo as a refuerzo and he ripped it up for them.

Pumas' team is not stronger. Just something to add to our conversation is all.

If Pumas do win, they should go down as one of the most memorable teams ever. Its not about just winning in la bombonera, its about winning a deciding championship there!

0-4. Bueno tampoco pero a mi huele a titulo para Pumas. Aunque con otra humillante derrota a manos de "solo" un equipo mexicano para Boca y esta vez en Buenos Aires... estaria muy bien pa' mis amiguillos argentinos aca jejeje.

Bueno ahora a lo que vine: No he estado al tanto del fut ultimamente pues se me pusieron perrisimas mis clases asi que tengo una pregunta y me disculpo si ya es un dato general para uds. tiempo atras escuche que iban a mantenera viva la copa intercontinental con un partido entre los campeones de copa UEFA y copa Sudamericana en una sede por definir (osea, no en japon) Saben algo nuevo al respecto?

la copa intercontinental ya no existe, fijate en los foros de el Campeonato Mundial de Clubes.
