Real possessing at the start, but not doing anything productive in the first two minutes.

Yellow card for Cris, for a professional foul on Robinho.

Goal Madrid from the ensuing FK. Guti scores from Beckham's cross.

Now the two sides are scuffling near midfield. Guti knocked down Tiago after the play, but receives only a yellow. Should be off for violent conduct. Tiago is booked for the initial tackle.

Guys give yourselves a little more credit. If Lyon come out and play attacking football they will destroy Real Madrid just like Barcelona did. There is no better time to play Madrid with all the injuries and all the unfit players. I don't want to make that as an excuse because IMO Lyon are a much better side who quite frankly deserve to finnish top to reflect their dominance in the group. I've said it in the " best team in Europe thread " and i'll say it here. You guys are one of the best teams in Europe and 5 consistent league titles and the way you have imposed yourselvves in Europe proves that you are up there.[/B] The only reason why my team is in the categorie is simply on reputation. Let's hope for a fair and enjoyable game but don't be suprised if you win at the Bernabeu. Teams are making a habit of it this season.

way way over the top analisys.

Robinho fakes injury to stop the counter-attack. Totally classless.

Lyon are finally having some possession, perhaps this 4-forward approach will bring about the equalizer.

Ball in from Wiltord, Carew controls it with his back to Casillas and flicks it in with his heel.
