One day I will make it to NYC to see my favorite parade! I watch it every year!

That gets me thinking. Anyone ever been in a big parade?
As a kid I was in the Philly Thanksgiving parade and my family has a bunch of members that have done the Mummers parade. As a little kid I dressed up as a minuteman for the bicentennial. My parents still have the dorky photos for blackmail purposes. :D

All these folks and no band geeks among us? Interesting.....either that or no one will own up to it! :D

My aunt used to work for Macy*s, so my cousin got to march in the parade once. He actually held one of the ropes connected to Kermit. I've been to the parade many times, but not in years.

As for the Mummers, for years, the coverage would pre-empt the Notre Dame bowl game. However, now that I know some people who march in it, I wouldn't mind tuning in just to see them. Then switching back immediately to football.

You mean a parade in Hope doesn't qualify as a "big parade". ;)

this thing about signing for sudafed is a biatch. I think I'll probably end up getting flagged already simply b/c I keep losing it. My step dad was having surgery today so my poor dad ended up keeping the kids for 1/2 the week. He took off all week to go duck hunting and now he's going to end up with them spending the night and then having to go to their Thanksgiving program the same day. It probably doesn't help matters that I sent my son w/ 3 types of medicine. i'm sure my dad will be calling when he gets that!
