i absolutely love that set... good antelope...

and mike/ryan... something that is a must have.. it is the radio broadcast of (i cant think of the name off hand) but it was played at the cypress NYE show where they play the greatest versions of songs played by phish (wow that was one huge runon sentence).
some GREAT versions of "destiny unbound" and chris kuroda's wedding where chris sings "possum".

Whatever happened to your local developer guy who was suing/appealing some zoning reg??
Thought I posted that one. Didn't last the day - He lost. From what I hear he's filing to have the local comp plan amended to accommodate more "starter homes", this despite the current 9% vacancy rate in the market and soaring dependency on property taxes. I can't get over the volume of people for whom the world must bend to their will.

See where Polar Express is available on video now. My daughter went to see that in the theatre with her grandpa. 4 yo at the time, they had to leave because she got scared! I can't recall what it was that did it... Anyone here see it? Is there quality adult appeal?

I can see why she was scared! I haven't seen the movie but from the ads it just LOOKS weird as heck. I have no desire to see it.

I had no desire to see the movie and I think it was because the people looked so life-like but weird too and it freaked me out!

Gooner - re: Cherry Garcia - I'm a huge chocolate fan, so Cherry Garcia lost out when Phish Phood came out. However, when it comes to the music, Jerry still wins out.

Ryan - re: 11/22/97 - I was at the night before, but on a plane to Phoenix while this one was going on.

James - re: "Best of Phish" - You need to share the wealth with that shit!

I just remember showing up towards the end of Emotional Rescue - (first time played) and asking the dudes next to us, "How much did we miss?" To which he replied, "Nothin' man, they opened with this!"

That, and the Guyute was particularly sick.

I have been to a ton of shows and concerts and the like in my lifetime and I can barely remember what songs were played. Much less the entire sets! And these were shows that I really liked! You guys are so weird........ ;) :p

Well, I'm going to let you in on a secret Steph; we cheat. First of all, we write down the setlist during the show, and then we get the recording, so we can hear it all again, and again, and again. That's how it sinks in. I know some people who can hear certain notes played and know exactly what song, what set, what show, etc. I'm not that good. I can, however, tell you fairly well, what year a show is from without seeing the date. That's true for both the Dead and Phish.

Oh yeah, we would always play "Call it" during shows. We also used to consider each show like a football match. We would keep score, each song either getting a goal for us, or a goal for the band. If they played song we liked, goal for us. If they played something we didn't, goal for them. If they played a song we liked, but poorly, goal for them. The ultimate example of when the band won was 7/10/99. We HATED that show. The band won both halves. We didn't even have a chance. To make matters worse, they released it as a live album!!!!

That, and I've already told you about the "Phish Phinal Phour."
