Nice. I love the Clash. The only band that mattered from 1977 - 1984.

I'm a huge clash fan but U2 and REM should be in that list for that period, IMO.

U2 and REM are both great, but their impact wasn't truly felt until later in the decade.

EDIT: Personally, my top three bands of all time are as follows:

1.) The Beatles

2.) The Rolling Stones

3.) U2

I agree about U2, but being from Georgia, REM was always big (among the "alternative" music crowd any way....... :D )

Should I Stay or Should I Go has always been a favorite; Rudie Can't Fail; Straight to Hell; and one of the most mis-named songs ever after Baba O'Riley.......Train in Vain......
Loves me some Clash!

Yeah. My London Calling CD used to always be in the car, and was a mainstay for late night trips back from NY. Back when I was with KA and we were going back and forth to NY for her opera several times a week, she got sick or listening to "Rudy Got Bail." I just laughed and laughed and laughed.

For a really long trip, I love Sandanista. Almost two hours of Clash-dub, mon.

Speaking of dub, I just saw my friends' Josh & Becca's wedding video over the weekend. It was done by a friend, and the music for the DVD menu was all dub!
