It is more like a tradition for my mother and I than anything else-we have fun though. I found great deals on toys for Joshua who is definitely at the age of quantity over quality so every little bit helps......

This pretty much describes my Christmas, but I have a football game chucked in the middle which is even better.
Yeah, but you still have to shop for people. For Thanksgiving, I just show up with a nice bottle of liquor, then proceed to drink it while gorging myself on food that i don't pay for and did nothing to prepare. Its pretty sweet.

Yeah, its good. All i did yesterday was a little bit of furniture rearranging. Not enough to qualify for the Feats of Strength, though. But i did offer a strong performance in the Airing of Grievances. ;)

My Thursday ended up in a sucky way. I was bartending in the dorm bar chatting with people when out of the blue I fainted for reasons unknown. I'd just taken a gulp of beer and somehow something went wrong when I swallowed it because it started to hurt like hell. I've no idea what happend. Well, fainting while standing behind a bar isn't a thing I can recommend. Apparently I fell forwards into the bar hitting it with my mouth and then tumbled to the floor smashing the back of my head on it. End result: a fat lower lip, a wound on the back of my head that required three stitches, a sore upper right arm from the tetanus shot and a couple of somewhat shocked friends. The doctor had no idea what happend either and all the tests they did returned perfectly normal results so it's anybodys guess. Hopefully I won't make a habit out of it.

Ok sorry to cut this short but I am single mom-ing it tonight and I need to go tend to my son (plus UGA v. Ga Tech starts in about 20 minutes!) Later guys. Glad you are feeling better Claus!

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm fine now the only thing is I have to lie rather akwardly if I want to lie in bed and watch tv. I think I'll manage.

Not that anyone is watching the UGA v. Tech game but the building they keep showing is one that I used to work in. It is now the 3rd tallest building in the US.....
