Help Please! About WMP

Suddenley I can't watch the video files I have on Windows Media Player. It worked fine until yesterday. Everytime I try to play something on it the program crashes. Only some videos work on it. Everything video used to work. Even some the ones that used to work aren't working anymore.
Really frustrating...

Anyone know how to fix the problem?

Try first downloading the VLC player ( http://www.videolan.org/ ) and see if that can play the files. That installer also installs a bunch of codecs (I suspect one or more of yours are corrupt), so just installing VLC might fix WMP.
