Players abroad that you think would do well in England. I think Santiago Solari would fit very well in England. He is a winger with good size and lots of pace. He's creative, has lots of skill, and is disciplined enough to come back and defend.

Adrian Bastia from Racing in Argentina has been rumoured to be off to England. Hope he does a bit better than Cordone who made the same move. He's a tough English style midfielder.

Djibril Cisse. His pace and goalscoring ability could make him a Henry n°2.

OMG!! No Yanks to Man U!! That would be just too tough on the mental well being of those of us who rightly hate Sir Alex and crew.

Clint Mathis wouldn't do very well on Manchester United. There's no way they would buy him anyway.

Because Manchester United is the biggest sports team on earth and they can afford any player they wanted. Why the hell would they buy lazy clint mathis when they could have someone much better?

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Michael Ballack.

I think Kazuyuki Toda, once he starts playing, could be very successful as the quintessential midfield hardman.

Bobby Convey would play very well on the wing for a Premiership squad.

I agree about Michael Ballack. His style of play would fit in the premiership quite nicely. I think Christian Vieri would make a nice addition to an English team as well.

Mathis will not be in the Premiership, at least not any time soon. I think Vieri would do well but there's no way he's leaving Italy. I agree that Ballack would do well. Maybe when his contract runs out with Bayern, he'll move abroad.

After seeing Battaglia this weekend, I think he could play there. I'd like to see D'Allesandro play there, but that just won't happen IMO due to the style of the Premiership.

Guys, the world is full of players that have the quality to play in the Premiership. They are too many to name. Various reasons such as work visas, EU status etc.etc. will probably limit the number of foreigners from getting much higher than the number there are now.

Brett Emerton of Feynoord. He is quick, and likes to get forward. He would fit in well in England

I think Feynoord winger Brett Emerton would fit in well.
He is very quick off the mark, and likes to get forward with the strikers

Too right they wouldnt.

I am going to be completely selfish and say I would like a reduction in the number of overseas players at United. However, Im realistic and know that the chances of finding a young English striker that has not been signed up as good as RVN is slim to say the least.

Yeah lets hope he never does. I wonder where he'll wind up when he leaves Inter.

WHOA!! easy dude! - i think you misread what he was sayin - i believe his wish is that no americans play for man u because that would interfere with his already in place hatred for the red devils - as in he likes americans, but not americans playing for man u -
