Pething - I'm sure you already know, but I think it's tape-delayed as the official site shows kick-off is 1pm GMT.

Yup, Ollie notes that on his site. The "SDD" stands for same day delay.

Not that I really want to give Ollie the hits but it is where I get the info from so ... check out soccertv.com to keep up with the Hammers on FSC.

I'll be watching it at the Highbury pub in Oslo. Mostly Hammers there this week, as all the gunners will be Hammers for the day. :D

Via the internet...

Hi,

To prepere your computer for the coming season....

Download and install the following P2P TV programs:
ppStream
PPlive
Coolstreaming
SOPcast

Also, make sure you have the most up to date versions of:
Windows Media Player v10
Real Player
Winamp Player

The P2P TV programs require a minimum connection of 1meg.
LIVESPORTS broadcasts are fine with a 512k connection.
LIVESPORTS channels only broadcast at game time

Reguarding the game this saterday, we (LIVESPORTS) will be definitely be broadcasting the game.
There could also be a P2P stream of this game available, but this is not yet confirmed.

Hi Gouldie and welcome. Long time since I was over the 'Stow', or having some eels in the high street. You'll be in for some stick if we lose. Not many Hammers in E.17.
Any pubs that can get Canal plus will be showing it. It's one of the matches that sky send out to other companies. Good luck finding a pub, or do as Bats said....If you understand all this PC gigger mega upload talk.... or is it download??

Hi Gouldie, the only pub in Walthamstow I know where they show West Ham games is the Chequers in Walthamstow High Road, (where the market is) although your a bit too close to Seven Sisters tube station for my liking! ;)

Welcome Gouldie. Walthamstow is a bit northerly so I wouldn't want to recommend going to a pub to watch the match.

I moved to Southgate when I was about 7 and left for East London when I was about 9. My Dad was going to Oak Hill College at the time. I don't know if the college is still there or not. I went to De Bohun (or is it De Bowen??) junior school.

Anyway the livesports link Batcave gave you is OK. You will tend to find that any big game streams will suffer as Media Player keeps rebuffering, making the game unwatchable. On the odd occasion it might be OK though.

Alternatively you could try this site:

http://www.sportlive.cc/matchlive.htm

Claret posted it the other week so I gave them a go. The matches cost £2 but they guarantee an uninterupted stream. The first match I signed up for was the West Brom game and they didn't show it due to broadcasting problems, so afterwards they refund my £2!!

They show the game in an browser embedded player similar to Media Player (only it works better) or alternatively, if like me you are a Winamp freak, they provide a url for Winamp.

It's up to you but we are gradually finding more and more options out there for watching our matches on the interweb.

Will the Americans here have to pay for the privilege of watching the Man Utd. game this weekend?

Yes, this is a pay-per-view game in the pubs and at home; It only costs $10 in the pub, and double at least on home TV.
I hope our team has been watching films of Man Utd; they're back in stride, it seems to me, and this will be a very tough game ; I can't see Harewood getting the better of Rio, altho I expect he'll find the range again someday.
I'd give Zamora a chance to start this time with Teddy; it might work!
