Peter, I noticed you had an architect and contractor with you down at the Hut. Has anyone started generating designs yet for the stadium?

Yeah, I got some design stuff that I would love to see. As do many people.

We need to get together for a beer sometime in the near future.

That is basically what I was going with. Beer and Milwaukee is always good for me.

oh, and Peter do you believe the Wave could/would host a different MLS team(Fire) soon, or perhaps a exhibition between the Fire and the Morelia Monarcas?

I would be up for that anytime. Just give me a call when it is a good time for you.

I'm a long way from WI at the moment (though I'll be in MKE - north side/Glendale - for T-giving if anyone wants to meet up for a brew), but for those of you wanting to meet up between MKE and Madison might I suggest the tasting room at Tyranena Brewing in Lake Mills, http://www.tyranena.com/brewery/tastingroom.htm.

Wonderful beers and nice people (they treated us very well while visiting on a homebrewer beer tour a few years back). By the way, Lake Mills was the center of the temperance movement in WI. I don't think it caught on.

Actually, the Wave just hosted the Fire about a month ago!

Even though I live in Lake Mills, I'm not real familiar with the bar scene.

Joseph Meegan's is a decent place.

September 10th. Fire 4, Wave United 1, at Uihlein Soccer Park, in front of 3,400 fans.

Best of luck with the Milwaukee bid, Peter. I for one would be glad to welcome Milwaukee to our MLS family. :-)

Joseph Meegan's it is....but not until Thursday, December 15 :( Sorry, the dance card is filling up. Should have plenty more info by then anyways.

Look forward to seeing everyone there. First round, at least, is on me! i should be there by 6:00 pm.
