Are you going to include a pronunciation guide when you register little Thierry for school, or have you decide to just embrace the idea of a child called "theory"?
I think it'll be cool to just have people try to guess what the "T" stands for.
By the way MIke it is to bad I am not going to be in Delaware any time soon. I think that I might have found the one person (besides my best friend Meghan) that woudl go see Pride and Prejudice with me! :D
I love that you want to name your daughter after a very cool (and hip for her time) literary figure! :D
Yeah, it's a shame I don't have a gf right now, because there's no way I'm going to see that by myself!

As long as he's not in Kansas...
LOL!!!!!!
Read the impossibly short article on Soccernet the other day wherein Barcelona FC announced they intended to manage a team in MLS someday as part of their global marketing strategy.
Everything I'm hearing is that it'll be Metrostars. This apparently has Metros fans up in arms at the prospects of changing their colors from AC Milan ripoffs to Barca ripoffs.

Yeah, I don't really want to go into the details, but suffice it to say, things didn't work out with Megan.

Sorry dude. You can come over here and baby sit my kids while i go see a movie, although I'm not a big harry potter fan. I don't remember what the last movie was that I've seen, but I'm sure it's made it to network tv by now. ;)

Nice, I'm going to the 5:40 show right after work, then heading out to the bar to meet some friends.
Actually, I had dinner with the ex last night at a "Hogwarts Feast". The meal consisted of "Toadstool Soup" which was like portabello mushroom soup. Then for my entree I had steak and mushroom pie with mashed potatoes, carrots and peas. Dessert was a sherry trifle. This was all washed down with "Butterbeer" (cream soda, vanilla ice cream and butterscotch schnapps).
My ex had the same soup, but had sausages for her entree and the "Hogwarts Dessert Sampler" which consisted of "Cauldron Cakes", "Pumpkin Pasties", and "Treacle Tart". She drank the "Pumpkin Juice" which was Sprite and fruit juice.
The dinner was at an English tea-room here in Wilmington, and the staff were all dressed as Hogwarts staff, and the dining room was decorated to look like the great hall, including the candles hanging from the ceiling.
It was actually really cool.

Well, it was her idea, but I had fun. And I must confess, I have a bumper sticker that says "Dumbledore's Army." It's the only one I have on the bumper. In the window I have "On The Road With Arsenal FC" in the middle, a Stealie on the right, and an Achtung Baby era U2 logo on the left.
