I haven't heard of him - I did listen to a couple of songs on his website and it sounds pretty good. If you like him, you should check out Earlimart...I believe they are LA-based...they are pretty good.
Yeah, i checked the website too, sounds like my kinda stuff, i'm making some calls right now to see if any of the chicks i know want to bathe in my indie rock coolness on a Monday night. ;)
I'll check out Earlimart sometime too.

No takers on the indie rock show, sounds like i'm flying a solo mission on this one. I really haven't gotten into any new music lately, but i have been getting more into going out and seeing live bands. Ben Lee is playing on Thursday, i might check that out too. I'm outta here, Later GP

Just following up on something you mentioned in the earlier OT thread......I love Stephanie Says......probably my favorite VU song next to Heroin and Pale Blue Eyes.
Love Velvet Underground to Yoss....so many favorites it is hard to say which is my absolute favorite but Heroin, Stephanie Says, I Can't Stand It, Sweet Jane (love the lyrics to this song and even the Cowboy Junkies cover.......) :D

Yeah, I like REM's cover of Pale Blue Eyes as well. The only VU stuff I'm not really fond of is when they let Nico sing. I'm just not into the gruff German dominatrix-sounding voice on Femme Fatale.
