I know this is old news but I have been forgetting to post this question for nearly a year. What happened to Mike Hill, the announcer who used to cover Champions League and La Liga matches on ESPN? I thought he was really good. If ESPN fired him, it would be nice if he'd appear on FSC or Gol. Take care.

He was dismissed for cause. That's all I know.
FSC and GolTV don't have the production budget to be able to afford the ESPN guys.

But a guy who has seemingly been out of work for a couple years is not likely going to command the same salary he was getting with ESPN. Either way, he is a much better announcer than any of the regulars on Gol or FSC. Take care.

Mike Hall. He won the first Dream Job. He's on ESPNNews and ESPNU.

There's also a Mike Hill, a black guy who's relatively new-within the last year or so. Just on ESPN news AFAIK.
